Itinerary

Meeting at the airport by a local guide. Transfer to Suusamyr valley. 3 hours drive.

Pass the Mounted Canyon Kara-Balta. Then, passing the tunnel through the mountains of Kyrgyz Ala-Too.

Lunch in the grand panoramic view of the valley Suusamyr in picnic or local cafe. Day of rest and acclimatization. Lodging and dinner in the guest house.

Attitude 2250 m-3120 m   

Early morning we start our backcountry skiing. Picnic at lunch. Descent to Base Camp. Afternoon free time.  Night and meals in the guest house. 

After breakfast, we start radial output skiing. Picnic at lunch.  Back to Base Camp.  Night in meals in the guest house. 

After breakfast, we have backcountry skiing. Picnic at lunch. Descent to Base Camp. Afternoon free time.  Lodging and meals in the guest house. 

After breakfast short skiing. Lunch with the team. host accommodation then transfers to the south. We climb to the pass 3150 m.  sea level in Ala-Bel Pass. Then the road descends until the canyon Chichkan. We drive through the canyon to the largest reservoir Toktogul. Lunch in Toktogul local guest house. Transfer to the Ozgorush village, Accommodation, and dinner.   

Early morning after breakfast we have a skiing radial outlet. Picnic. Back to the village. Dinner and night in the guest house.

Early morning after breakfast transfer to Arslanbob. We drive through the biggest river Naryn, then get to the Fergana Valley. We go through a little valley in the middle of the walnut forest. Picnic at lunch in a beautiful view. Arriving in the village at noon.  Appointment with the team of rooms loading luggage on horse saddles. Following the walking route to the pasture of Jaz-Jarim. Setting in Camp.

After Breakfast descents to the village. Transfer to Osh. On the route visit and mausoleum of the middle Ages. Lunch on the way to the local restaurant. Arrival to Osh. Dinner and accommodation in a guest house. 

After breakfast, walking around Osh. Osh market. Sulaiman too. Lunch downtown. Afternoon free time. visiting the capital Fergana. 

 

Transfer to the airport. Flight back home.

During the course, you will learn about

                -Intro to avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, availing, and floating bags.

                -Uphill touring techniques with climbing skins. -Step-around turns and kick turns.

                -Avalanche hazard recognition and avoidance.

               -Downhill group travel techniques.

               -How to make emergency sleds out of your skis.

 Requirements:

      -Reasonable fitness  -Intermediate/advanced alpine skills at ski resorts

 Previous skiing in ungroomed snow conditions recommended but not essential.

 In Suusamyr, depending on the season, the base camp is set up in a yurt or a summary incl refuge. the kitchen.

 The program is made for information. It may be changed due to flight schedules, weather, and other unforeseen conditions and do not give rises to compensation. 

 

Other terms

To book, a deposit is required, with the balance due 30 days before departure. Cancellations made over 30 days in advance are refundable minus a fee, while those within 30 days are non-refundable. Travel insurance is recommended but not included. Itineraries may change due to unforeseen conditions, and travelers must follow health and safety regulations. Luggage includes one checked bag and one carry-on; excess baggage may incur extra fees. Respectful behavior is required, and special requests should be made at booking, subject to availability.
